For Square's 'Behind the Counter' series, our task was to spread hype and inform sellers about the launch of SquareAI, its tools and capabilities. To add context, humanity, and depth to our narrative, we highlighted two NYC businesses, Salt Hank's and Black Seed Bagels. Shot on location, we shared the inner workings of these Square businesses, showing how the nuances of their everyday lives could be improved with help from SquareAI. We added depth to our sellers and engineers with personal asides, light banter, and step by step demonstrations of tech.
Directing video for Jordan Brand was always fast, exciting, and compelling. Here's a few of my favorite highlights from those projects, focusing on authentic narratives about legends of the Jordan community. For Women’s History Month, we celebrated LA local and OG sneaker queen Sally Aguirre of Sally’s Shoes, shooting in her childhood home turned-bakery. We also featured Fairley Mccaskill, Atlantic Records VP and entertainment powerhouse in her favorite bar on Fairfax. In another shoot, members of Jordan Brand Chicago Women's Collective came together to brighten up a grey Midwest day. Women were also central to the brand’s Banned Day campaign; Kayce Kirihara, Imani Ellis, Noelle Black, and DJ B4BYLEXIG1RL all brough fearless attitude and renegade creativity.
Leading creative direction and execution for Dr. Martens holiday '24 season was an exploration in moody-meets-whimsical. Seasonal excitement and joy were conveyed with rich color and tactile materials. Candid expressions and effusive gestures add movement to inspire a sense of holiday cheer, without giong full on fa-la-la.
